OECD

The United States is a member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises are non-binding recommendations made to enterprises by the 30 OECD member countries and six non-member countries. Ambassador Christopher F. Egan was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as United States Permanent Representative to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France and was confirmed by the Senate on October 26, 2007.
