Susan Graham

American mezzo-soprano Susan Graham is one of today’s most popular and critically acclaimed singers. Her unique charm is composed of her thrilling voice, an engaging and natural acting ability, and her tall and graceful stature. As the leading mezzo-soprano of New York’s Metropolitan Opera, Ms. Graham is in great demand for opera, concert and recital engagements in the world’s leading opera and concert houses. She has appeared with orchestras and companies including the New York Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, La Scala, Paris Opera, and the Metropolitan Opera, under the batons of the world’s top conductors.

Born in New Mexico and raised in Midland, Texas, Ms. Graham studied at the Manhattan School of Music, and at Texas Tech University, where she is a Distinguished Alumna. She is an American delegate for UNESCO, was awarded the Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government, and was named Musical America’s 2004 Vocalist of the Year. Ms. Graham is an international recording star, and has received numerous international awards and distinctions. She was recently nominated for two Grammy awards.

Ms. Graham currently resides in New York and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
