Some have said that we withdrew after the attacks in 1983. Well, I've been working on Lebanon ever since then, and I know better. We moved but we didn't leave. Support for Lebanon within the U.S. Government and the American people is today strong; it is bipartisan; it won't change. It won't change with the American election, and with a new president.
