Secretary Rice Travels to Iraq


Baghdad, Iraq
April 20, 2008

Secretary Rice traveled to Iraq on April 20 meet with U.S. embassy and military officials and Iraqi leadership. She then went to Bahrain to participate in an April 21 meeting of foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Egypt and Jordan. She will then go to Kuwait to participate in an Expanded Neighbors of Iraq Ministerial on April 22.
