Students from United Kingdom Meet with Assistant Secretary Harrison

Mei Lai Lu and Tom Minor, two students from the United Kingdom, met with Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Patricia Harrison, on July 10, 2002. The British youth are in the United States for a week as part of a program coordinated by the International Visitors Program in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. They will have the opportunity to learn about American government and society by meeting with U.S. officials and visiting cultural sites in Washington, D.C. and New York.
