Assistant Secretary Noriega joins U.S. Deputy Assistant Attorney General Mary Lee Warren to present a $20 million check to Peruvian Prime Minister Carlos Ferrero Costa and Foreign Minister Manuel Rodríguez Cuadros. The funds were seized by the U.S. Department of Justice from the U.S. accounts of corrupt officials of the Fujimori government.
