Avian Influenza

A Thai worker sprays disinfectant on chicken cages Tuesday, July 12, 2005, in the central province of Suphanburi, Thailand, 100 kilometers (60 miles) north of Bangkok. Bird flu, avian influenza, has been found in birds in villages where an outbreak hit last year according to Thai officials. Health experts have warned that the disease will be difficult to eradicate and is likely to re-emerge occasionally, possibly for years.  AP/WWP [more]
