Conference on Global Infectious Disease and US Foreign Policy

Secretary of State Colin L. Powell will deliver opening remarks at the Secretary’s Open Forum, Conference on Global Infectious Disease and US Foreign Policy sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the National Academies in cooperation with the American Society for Microbiology and the Infectious Disease Society of America on Friday, November 2, 2001. Morning sessions will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Loy Henderson Auditorium at the Department of State, 2201 C St. NW. Afternoon sessions will be held from 1:05 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the auditorium of the National Academy of Science, 2100 C St. NW. Speakers include:
