North Korea - Talks in New York (Taken Question)

Question:  Can you provide a read-out of Ambassador Pritchard's meeting today in New York?

Answer:  Special Envoy for Negotiations with the D.P.R.K. Ambassador Jack Pritchard met today, June 14, 2002, in New York with North Korea's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Pak Gil-yon, to discuss issues related to the resumption of U.S.-North Korean dialogue.  The discussions were useful and conducted in a business-like manner.  We expect our contacts to continue.
