USAID Administrator Natsios to Hold Briefing Regarding Rebuilding Efforts in Afghanistan - December 23

USAID Administrator Andrew S. Natsios will discuss rebuilding efforts in Afghanistan to coincide with the one-year anniversary of the interim government on Monday, December 23rd at 2:30pm. The briefing will be on the record and on camera at the Department of State’s Press Briefing Room (2209).

Press who attend this briefing should arrive at the 23rd Street entrance (between C and D Streets, NW) and must present either (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card or (3) letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport). Press should allow adequate time to process through security and plan to be in the briefing room 10 minutes before the briefing.
