Future of Iraq, Free Media Working Group Meeting

The first session of the Future of Iraq project working group on Free Media is convening on February 19-20, 2003 in Washington, DC.

At this session, about 25 "Free Iraqis" will discuss the role of the public and private sectors in the media, including organization, ownership and regulations; the freedom and responsibilities of media professionals; and media education.
