Release of the International Narcotics Control Strategy Report

CD-ROM copies of the 2002 International Narcotics Control Strategy Report will be available on Friday, February 28 at 4:00 p.m. in the State Departmentís Press Office (Room 2109).   The report is EMBARGOED until NOON, Saturday, March 1.

The report is available on a first-come, first-served basis, only one CD-ROM per media organization. The CD-ROMs must be picked up in person at the Press Office; they will not be mailed or delivered to a courier at any entrance.   At 4:00 p.m., journalists and couriers must use the C Street entrance and must have a State Department building pass for clearance to the Press Office.

Members of the foreign media may obtain the EMBARGOED CD-ROM at 4:00 p.m. from the Washington Foreign Press Center, Suite 800, National Press Building, 529 14th Street, N.W.

The full text of the report will be available on the State Department web site at: http://www.state.gov at NOON, on Saturday, March 1.
