Venezuela: Meetings with Opposition Members (Taken Question)

Question:   Will any USG officials meet with Venezuelan opposition leaders who are visiting Washington?   If so, who?

Answer:   Today National Security Council and State Department officials met with Venezuelan opposition members Timoteo Zambrano, and Freddie Lepage. As part of their duties, National Security Council and State Department officials regularly meet with members of foreign governments, as well as business, civil society, and political leaders.
