The Riga Women Business Leaders Summit is being held in Washington, DC December 2-3, 2004. The Summitís objective is to bring women entrepreneurs from the United States, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus together to exchange best practices and develop partnerships to create economic growth. Supported by a public/private partnership (U.S. and Latvian Governments, Georgetown University, and several private corporations), the Riga Summit is a follow-on to the highly successful 2002 Helsinki Women Business Leaders Summit.

The press is invited to cover the formal remarks delivered at the reception.

Pre-set time for cameras is 2:45 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance.
