Israel/Palestinians: Israeli Rocket Attack in Gaza (Taken Question)

Question:   Comment on Israeli missile strike on Jamal Abu Samhadana, head of the Popular Resistance Committees’ car in Gaza.

Answer:   We understand Israel's need to defend itself from attacks, but Israel should consider the consequences of its actions.

We urge all parties, especially at this moment of opportunity for progress, to remain focused on measures to bring an end to violence and terror, and to avoid actions that escalate tension and create obstacles to implementing the roadmap and realizing the President’s two-state vision.
