Secretary Rice's Travel to The Bahamas

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will travel to Nassau, The Bahamas, on March 21-22 to participate in a meeting with CARICOM foreign ministers. The Secretary will discuss U.S. engagement in the Caribbean and our desire to deepen cooperation with countries in the region to promote democracy, enhance economic competitiveness, strengthen security and the rule of law, and improve disaster preparedness. The Secretary will also meet with Bahamian Prime Minister Perry Christie to discuss U.S.-Bahamian relations.
