Travel by the Presidentís Special Envoy for Sudan (Taken Question)

Question:   Please provide further details on travel by Mr. Natsios to Sudan. How long is the trip? With whom will he meet and where will he visit? Is there a possibility of overlap with plans for an AU visit?

Answer:   Mr. Natsios plans to spend just under a week in Sudan. He will meet with senior government officials, political and civil society leaders, NGOs and embassy and USAID staff in Khartoum, Juba and Darfur. We are aware of plans for an AU visit, but do not expect it to overlap with ours.
