Turkey (Taken Question)

Question:   What is the U.S. reaction to the "return home" resolution being considered by the Turkish government that would grant amnesty to some PKK members?

Answer: The United States welcomes such efforts by Turkey’s sovereign leaders to resolve the PKK problem and eliminate terrorism. The United States supports Turkey in its efforts to end the PKK terrorist threat to its citizens and will continue to use all diplomatic, military, and intelligence means to do so.
