Deputy Secretary of State John D. Negroponte to Address the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations

Deputy Secretary of State John D. Negroponte will address the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations at the 41st annual gala dinner on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 8:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Pierre Hotel, Fifth Avenue at 61st Street, New York, NY. The Deputy Secretary will take questions from the audience after his remarks.

The Deputy Secretary's remarks will be open for press coverage. Media planning to attend this event must call Dan Fleshler, Nadine Simon or Andrew Frank at 212-935-0210.

Press Registration: 6:00-7:30 PM, Cotillion Room
Press Entrance: Fifth Avenue

Media representatives must present one of the following: (1) Foreign Press Center badge, (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport).
