Deputy Secretary of State to Travel to Mexico

Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte will travel to Monterrey and Mexico City, Mexico this weekend. He will be accompanied by Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Thomas Shannon. While in Monterrey, the Deputy Secretary will address the Mexico Business Summit. In Mexico City, he will meet with senior members of the Government of Mexico and members of the private sector, including media and civil society and human rights groups.
