Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to Travel to Prague, Sofia, and Tbilisi

Secretary of State Rice will travel to Prague, Sofia, and Tbilisi from July 7 to July 10.  

Secretary Rice will meet with senior Czech, Bulgarian, and Georgian officials to discuss a wide range of bilateral and transatlantic issues. In Prague, she will sign an agreement for stationing a U.S. missile defense radar on Czech soil. In Sofia, Secretary Rice will receive the Stara Planina First Class Medal, Bulgaria’s highest award, for her role in obtaining the release last July of Bulgarian medics and a Palestinian doctor held in Libya.
