Georgia: South Ossetian NGO (Taken Question)

Question: When will the State Department meet with the South Ossetian human rights group? Has the group been informed about the scheduled time for the meeting? What is on the agenda for the meeting?

Answer: As DAS Bryza indicated last week, the State Department is not meeting with this group. This group attended a conference at George Mason University along with other NGOs from elsewhere in Georgia. It is possible that a working-level State Department official will attend a dinner that George Mason University is hosting tonight for this larger group, but there will be no separate meeting.
