Construction Incident at Department of State (Taken Question)

Question: At what time did the incident occur at the D Street construction area? How long was the building closed to staff access this morning?

Answer: At approximately 3:30 a.m. this morning an incident took place in the closed construction area of the Harry S Truman Building. As a precaution, the Fire Department was contacted. At the request of the Fire Department, the building was not evacuated, but was temporarily closed to staff and vehicle access between approximately 5:30 and 6:45 a.m. No further action was required.
