North Korea: Delegation Visit to New York (Taken Question)

Question: Provide details about the North Korean delegation that will be visiting New York November 7. When will Ambassador Sung Kim meet with the delegation? Will other US officials meet with the delegation? Where will the meeting be held?

Answer: A North Korean delegation, headed by Ambassador Ri Gun, Director General for North American Affairs at the DPRK Foreign Ministry, will be visiting New York later next week for an event organized by the National Committee on American Foreign Policy, a non-governmental organization. Ambassador Sung Kim, Special Envoy for the Six-Party Talks, will meet with the group on the margins of their NGO events. Details of the meeting have not yet been finalized.
