VICE-FOREIGN MINISTER WANG YI: Welcome to Beijing. This is the first time we have met, but I know you are a famous diplomat. I am looking forward to our discussion today. You have just met with Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and I believe you discussed a range of issues. For our discussion today, how shall we proceed? Shall we discuss regional issues?

DEPUTY SECRETARY NEGROPONTE: Thank you for your warm welcome. I had a very good meeting with Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.
