Ash Jain

BIOGRAPHY

Ash Jain is responsible for issues relating to Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, the Broader Middle East North Africa Initiative (BMENA), and the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).

Prior to joining the Policy Planning Staff, Mr. Jain served as a special advisor for Middle East issues in the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation. Previously, he served as an advisor in the White House Office of Global Communications and counsel to Senator Fred Thompson at the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee. He received a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan and a J.D./M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
