FOREIGN MINISTER TANG: The weather here in Beijing is getting warmer.

SECRETARY POWELL: I am very pleased to be in this beautiful room. I have been in this room many times and itís a pleasure to be back.

FOREIGN MINISTER TANG: Youíre very welcome to pay this visit to Beijing. The Chinese government attaches great importance to this visit. There is no doubt this current visit will enhance mutual understanding and cooperation between our two countries.

SECRETARY POWELL: It is a great pleasure to be back in China. I think this is my fourth visit.
