Remarks After His Interview with ABC's This Week

Secretary Colin L. Powell
Washington, DC
September 7, 2003

QUESTION: Mr. Secretary, do you have a minute?

SECRETARY POWELL: One question. I have to get to another studio.

QUESTION: Regarding the WMD, WMD were the basis of your argument for war. If they do exist, where are they, and why haven't you found them?

SECRETARY POWELL: We will wait for Dr. Kay to report later this month, and I am sure he will give us a comprehensive statement on all of the information that he has uncovered as a result of the interviews that he has conducted. So let's wait for a report.

Thank you.
